Our older residents are an important part of the Detroit Shoreway, Cudell, and Edgewater communities. We aim to provide up-to-date and helpful resources for our senior residents.
City of Cleveland Department of Aging
Stay up-to-date on events, services, and programs available to senior residents in the City of Cleveland. The department also has a free Home Repair Resource Guide available, updated annually.

LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland
Located at the LGBT Center in Detroit Shoreway, the Rainbow Pioneer Program is open to all members of the community 50 years of age or older. The program offers meals, low-impact exercise, art therapy and group discussions multiple times a week in a welcoming environment. No registration is necessary.

West Side Community House is a nearby social service agency and community center, with senior services like meals, transportation and activities, free of charge.

Home Accessibility Assessment
Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio can conduct a free, thorough assessment of the existing features, layout and appliances of your home and make suggestions for safety and aging-in-place.

Cleveland Westside Village
Cleveland Westside Village is a group of older adults working together to remain in our homes. Members help each other live well and joyfully within our community, and new members are welcome.

The WRAAA is a regional nonprofit providing and coordinating senior services, including assisted living, home care and nutritional assistance.

McGregor PACE
The McGregor Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a nursing home alternative that provides for long-term medical, social and personal care needs of seniors. Staff work with residents 55 and older and their caregivers to develop a personalized plan of care.
